ZIBO HUAO NEW MATERIALS CO., LTD. will showcase its full spectrum of high-temperature raw materials at the International Colloquium on Refractories - ICR 2026, held from September 16 to 17, 2026, in Aachen, Germany. Operating as an integrated manufacturing exporter, HUAO will present its high-purity reactive alumina, tabular alumina, calcined alumina, white fused alumina, fused mullite, and specialized magnesia products to global steelmaking, cement, and glass refractory engineering teams.


The International Colloquium on Refractories - ICR 2026 serves as one of Europe's premier technical platforms for high-temperature materials engineering. Bringing together plant managers, furnace designers, and procurement directors from across the steel, foundry, and petrochemical sectors, the 2026 event focuses on sustainable furnace linings, thermal shock stability, and slag resistance in high-stress processing equipment.


During the exhibition, HUAO will highlight its core high-performance raw material series engineered for unshaped refractory castables, slide gate plates, steel ladles, and tundish systems:


  • Reactive & Calcined Alumina: Made from low sodium calcined alumina powder through grinding and deep processing.
  • Tabular Alumina: Fully densified sintered alpha-alumina produced without sintering aids, delivering low open porosity and exceptional volume stability under thermal shock.
  • White Fused Alumina: Electrically fused above 2000°C from pure calcined alumina, providing high hardness and high temperature oxidation resistance.
  • Fused Mullite: It is manufactured by melting high-purity bauxite and silica raw materials at ultra-high temperature electric arc furnace, then cooling, crushing, grinding and screening strictly.
  • Dead Burned Magnesia: Sintered in high-temperature kilns (1400°C - 1800°C) from natural magnesite ore (46% content), yielding an economical 85%-92% MgO base for basic refractory formulations.
  • Fused Magnesia & Large Crystal Fused Magnesia: Fused in electric arc furnaces from caustic calcined or high-purity light magnesia powder, offering superior corrosion resistance against aggressive basic slag.
