HUAO Reactive Alumina is an ultra-fine alpha alumina micro-powder engineered as an essential functional filler for advanced refractory systems and industrial ceramics. Featuring high chemical purity with strictly controlled impurities (Na2O <0.14%, Fe2O3 <0.04%, CaO <0.02%), it optimizes grain packing density and significantly lowers mixing water requirements.
This improves slurry fluidity, accelerates high-temperature solid-state sintering, and yields a dense microstructure. As a result, refractory castables, steel ladle linings, blast furnace runners, and spray coatings gain superior cold and hot mechanical strength, excellent thermal shock resistance, and long-lasting protection against severe molten slag and iron erosion.
